Mock Trial is a competitive program that gives students hands-on experience in the legal system. Each year a case involving high school students is argued among area schools. The team begins meeting in November when case materials are reviewed. With the help of a legal advisor, prosecution and defense cases are prepared. Students who enjoy the law and performance are encouraged to become team members. The team works toward regional competition in February when cases are argued in real Hamilton County courtrooms.
